Happy Thursday everyone! We have a couple of posts here before we say see you later and catch you in the new year.
First, I would like to remind you all that the newest issue of Teaching Today WI newspaper is live and available to view on our website. http://www.teachingtodaywi.com/TTWIDec2016.html
Hard copies have since been distributed across the state as well.
Second, as mentioned in Monday’s post, our Dream Career essay contest has moved back an issue. Here’s some detailed information:
Teaching Today™ WI would like to hear about your students’ “Dream Careers.” They can enter their essays in this special contest to win cash prizes to use towards their future “Dream Career.” This is the fourth year of this special contest and the first year that we have opened it up to middle school students – it has been one of our greatest joys!
> $200.00 cash prizes from Teaching Today™ WI will be awarded to each of the six winning entries.
> $75.00 cash prizes from Teaching Today™ WI will be awarded to each of the six Honorable Mentions.
This contest is open to all high school and middle school students in Wisconsin. Essay entries are to be between 400 and 600 words in length. A Word document is preferred or a pdf.
We will be featuring the six winners in our upcoming Issue. The six honorable mentions will be presented in the following three issues.
The deadline for submissions is January 5th at 6:00 p.m.
